DRUM DUMPER WITH SLIDE GATE
APPLICATION / PRODUCT:
Controlled discharge of 55 gallon drums of flake material in a dust tight manner.
CUSTOM FEATURES:
Drum dumper included a custom 304 stainless steel offset pour cone with a 2b finish. Pour cone featured a fully mounted 8" pneumatically actuated Salina slide gate for material flow control. Dumper was designed for 135º rotation, with a 45º angle of discharge.
The hydraulic power system included the exclusive MTS Lift & Seal System™ to ensure dust tight sealing of the drums to the fixed pour cone. The self-contained 2 G.P.M. hydraulic system featured dual acting cylinders.
The stationary frame was painted with an FDA approved white food grade epoxy and designed for inside use. Dumper had a 51" discharge height and a 10" projection from the frame to the centerline of the discharge valve. NEMA 4 electricals with "dead man" type controls, allowed unit to be stopped in any position in the rotational cycle.
