WASHDOWN DUTY PORTABLE DRUM DUMPER
CUSTOM FEATURES:
Drum dumper was designed for a 45° discharge angle and included a custom 304 stainless steel pour cone with an electropolished finish.Pour cone included a custom discharge nozzle with a fully mounted 8" FMC iris valve. The manual valve featured a stainless steel body, twist lock handle and a nylon sleeve for sure and reliable flow control.
The unit power pack featured a Baldor TEFC washdown duty motor with a completely self contained hydraulic system. NEMA 4 electricals were mounted in a Hoffman NEMA 4X stainless steel control enclosure. "Dead man" style push-button controls ensured operator safety.
The exclusive MTS Lift & Seal System™ provided push-button, dust-tight sealing of drums to the fixed pour cone. The hydraulic fluid and grease were FDA/USDA approved for incidental food contact. The portable design featured 5" polyurethane casters with locking foot pads. A sanitary washdown frame design with capped, angled tubes and continuous welds offered easy cleaning. The frame was sandblasted and painted with an FDA approved white industrial epoxy.
