DRUM DUMPER WITH 75 DEGREE DISCHARGE ANGLE
APPLICATION / PRODUCT:
Discharge 55 gallon drums of abrasive material into an existing hopper in a dust tight manner.
CUSTOM FEATURES:
Drum dumper included a custom 304 stainless steel pour cone with a #4 finish. The pour cone was equipped with a pneumatic turbine vibrator for optimum material flow and cone clean out. A fully mounted 12" Salina roller gate with hardened steel rollers, stainless steel blade and aluminum valve housing ensured dependable material flow control.
Custom neoprene seals were utilized to ensure a dust-tight seal between the drum and pour cone. In addition the pour cone had an inflatable seal to mate with the receiving hopper cover.
The hydraulic power system included the exclusive MTS Lift & Seal System™ to provide dust tight sealing of the drums to the fixed pour cone.
The dumper featured a 75° angle of discharge with a 165° rotation. The frame was constructed of wash down duty carbon steel with capped, angled tubes and channels. Safety caging was added to two sides of the unit and painted Safety Yellow. The unit included a totally self contained 2 G.P.M. hydraulic system with welded type, double-acting cylinders and chromed rods. NEMA 4 electricals offered both a manual "dead man" type push button control, or an "automatic" cycle mode. Controls were mounted in a Hofman NEMA 4X stainless steel enclosure.
