LIFT & DUMP DRUM DUMPER WITH 60° DISCHARGE
APPLICATION / PRODUCT:
Unit was engineered to discharge 30 gallon drums of Ammonium Persulfate powder into a hopper at a height of 215". Unit featured a 12" discharge projection and an 800# lifting capacity.
CUSTOM FEATURES:
The unit was custom designed to rotate under a restricted ceiling height while providing a 60° discharge angle.
The unit was equipped with a rolled type 316L stainless steel pour chute to direct product into the receiving vessel.
Construction features included our exclusive guided trunnion, Igus brand E-chain, rigid stainless steel hydraulic lines, and rigid conduit.
The dumper frame was constructed from heavy-duty structural channel with continuous welds, and painted with Steel-It brand 316L stainless steel pigmented epoxy for durability.
The unit included a completely self-contained hydraulic system powered by a Baldor TEFC paint-free washdown duty motor. The motor, hydraulic pump, and hydraulic valves were housed in an enclosure with an easy access maintenance panel. Electrical components were NEMA 4 rated, and "dead-man" (momentary contact) type controls were mounted in a NEMA 4X stainless steel control enclosure.
