DRUM DISCHARGING SYSTEM FOR BRAKE PAD MATERIAL

DRUM DUMPER SPECIFICATIONS:

• 60° discharge angle.
• 40" discharge height.
• 750# operational capacity.
• Lift & Seal System™ hydraulically seals drum to the pour cone for a clean, safe work environment.
• Manual 12" iris valve with a Linatex wear sleeve for reliable flow control.
• Stainless steel loading forks to accept drums rolled in on dollies.

FLEXIBLE SCREW CONVEYOR:

• 3" O.D. UHMW casing with a flat wire stainless steel helix.
• 8 cu.ft. carbon steel inlet hopper.
• Hopper cover includes inlet stub, dust stub, and inspection hatch.
• To convey up to 1,800# per hour.

SYSTEM CONTROL STATION:

• NEMA 12 control station with AUTO/MANUAL mode controls for the drum dumper and screw conveyor.
• In "AUTO" mode conveyor operates automatically based upon remote level sensors.
• In "MANUAL" mode, unit runs from "dead-man" type push buttons.
• Conveyor includes a variable frequency drive to adjust feed rates.
• Digital display and keypad were panel mounted to allow for quick access.
• In "AUTO" mode, the operator pushes and releases the "DUMPER UP" push button. The unit seals the drum to the cone and rotates to the discharge position. The operator manually actuates the valve, then returns the unit to the "unloading" position by pressing and releasing the "DUMPER DOWN" button.
