HEAVY-DUTY CONTAINER DUMPER WITH HOOD
APPLICATION / PRODUCT:
Designed to provide dust-tight discharge of free-flowing flavored drink mix into an existing hopper. Containers weighed a maximum of 2,100# when filled.
FEATURES:
Unit featured heavy-duty carbon steel structural channel and tube construction with extensive structural bracing. An exclusive Lift & Seal System™ provided dust-tight sealing between the container and the fixed pour hood.
A custom 304-2b stainless steel pour hood and 8" pneumatically actuated Salina Vortex slide gate delivered dependable flow control. The dumper was a bolt down stationary design with a 45° angle of discharge, and a 24" material discharge height.
The 5 GPM hydraulic system utilized multiple hydraulic cylinders with chrome plated rams, and was powered by a Baldor 5HP high efficiency TEFC motor. The unit was designed to accept containers 37" wide x 45" long x 33" high, located on a pallet 44" square x 5" high.
NEMA 12 electricals with "dead-man" type push button controls allowed the unit to be "jogged" and/or stopped in any position during the rotational cycle of the equipment. Unit was painted with USDA approved Steel-It stainless steel pigmented industrial epoxy.
