APPLICATION / PRODUCT:
Designed to provide controlled discharge of bulk film material. Unit was designed to dump containers at a height of approximately 11'. Unit featured a 45° discharge angle with a 135° rotation.
FEATURES:
Frame featured 6" heavy "S" flange I-beam main frame construction with extensive structural channel bracing. The custom designed skip was 48" wide and constructed of heavy AR/IR plate steel on bottom and back with 3/8" plate steel sides and front. The bottom of the skip featured heavy wall carbon steel tubular bracing. The cold-rolled steel pivot shaft was 3" in diameter, heavily gussetted, with 4-bolt flange bearings.
The unit power pack featured a 10 HP high efficiency TEFC motor driving a 10 GPM completely self contained hydraulic system. Dumper utilized multiple 4" bore double acting hydraulic cylinders with chrome plated rams.
NEMA 12 electricals featured "automatic" and "manual" modes, and Allen Bradley electrical components. The automatic mode allowed the unit to travel through the entire "up" cycle of the equipment, stopping at the full discharge position for an adjustable time out period. The lower cycle could then be initiated lowering the unit to the loading position. The manual mode utilized "dead-man" push button type controls which allowed the unit to be "jogged" and/or stopped in any position during the rotational cycle of the equipment. Unit was painted with MTS Safety Blue two part industrial epoxy.
