APPLICATION / PRODUCT:
Unit was designed to discharge metal containers of abrasive glass batch material in a dust-tight manner at a height of 160". Unit featured a 60° discharge angle with a 150° rotation.
FEATURES:
The unit frame featured all heavy duty construction with 6" heavy "S" flange I-beam, heavy wall structural tube, and extensive structural bracing. The bottom of the heavy plate steel skip featured I-beam bracing. The custom cold-rolled steel pivot shaft was 3" diameter, heavily gussetted, span supported, with 4-bolt flange bearings.
Our custom hydraulic Lift & Seal System™ created a dust-tight seal between the steel containers and the custom 304-2b stainless steel pour cone. The pour cone included a fully mounted 12" Keystone butterfly valve with 3 way solenoid valve, EPDM seat, and 316 stainless steel on contact.
The unit power pack was designed for heavy use in an industrial environment and featured a 10 HP high efficiency TEFC motor driving a 10 GPM hydraulic system. Dumper utilized multiple large bore double acting hydraulic cylinders with chrome plated rams for sealing, lifting, and rotation. Unit featured rigid conduit, rigid hydraulic lines, and a NEMA 12 junction box to allow for integration with additional equipment and controls.
