APPLICATION / PRODUCT:
Unit was custom designed to discharge boxes of tobacco onto a conveyor at a height of 76". Unit featured a 45° discharge angle with a 135° rotation.
FEATURES:
The unit featured wash down duty construction with 6" heavy "S" flange I-beam and 6" structural channel main frame, structural bracing, and continuous welds.
The unit featured a floor loadable design to accept containers loaded by pallet jack. The discharge of the 48" wide bucket was of open design, and directed product flow onto the conveyor without restricting material flow.
The unit power pack featured a Baldor washdown duty TEFC motor driving a completely self-contained hydraulic system. Dumper utilized multiple double acting hydraulic cylinders with chrome plated rams. Unit featured our exclusive guided trunnion, Igus brand E-chain, and rigid stainless steel hydraulic lines.
Unit included NEMA 4 electricals with "dead-man" type controls mounted in a Hoffman NEMA 4 carbon steel enclosure. A pendant control which plugged into the main control enclosure was also supplied. This allowed operator control of the unit while standing on the opposite side of the receiving conveyor. The unit was painted with USDA and FDA approved Steel-It brand 316L stainless steel pigmented epoxy, an included safety caging on the control side of the unit.
