APPLICATION / PRODUCT:
Unit was designed to discharge boxes of wet chopped fiberglass into a feeder hopper at a height of 120". Unit featured a 60° discharge angle with a 150° rotation.
FEATURES:
The unit frame featured heavy duty wash down construction with 6" heavy "S" flange I-beam, heavy wall structural tube, extensive structural bracing, and continuous welds. The bottom of the heavy plate steel skip featured structural bracing.
Our exclusive hydraulic Lift & Seal System™ sealed the box to the fixed pour hood, preventing contaminants from entering into the receiving hopper. The custom 304-2b stainless steel pour hood directed flow of the fiberglass into the receiving hopper without restricting material flow.
The unit power pack featured a 5 HP Baldor washdown duty TEFC motor driving a 5 GPM hydraulic system. Dumper utilized multiple large bore double acting hydraulic cylinders with chrome plated rams for sealing, lifting, and rotation. Unit featured our exclusive guided trunnion, Igus brand E-chain, and rigid stainless steel hydraulic lines. Unit included NEMA 4 electricals with "dead-man" type controls mounted in a Hoffman NEMA 4X stainless steel enclosure. The dumper also featured safety caging on two sides of the unit.
