LIFT & SEAL SYSTEM™ CONTAINER DUMPER WITH PIVOTING HOOD
APPLICATION / PRODUCT :
Unit was engineered to discharge containers of dry potato flakes in a dust-tight manner. Unit was designed for a 54" discharge height at a 60° discharge angle.
CUSTOM FEATURES :
Unit featured a 3042b stainless steel pour hood with continuous welds, and a fully mounted 20" roller gate valve with stainless steel on product contact surfaces. Our MTS Lift & Seal System™ provided a dust-tight seal between the container and the pour hood.
The pour hood included a custom air actuated pivoting system for increased loading clearance. The frame was constructed from carbon steel structural tube, with ends capped and continuous welds. The dumper frame was sandblasted near white, then painted Dairy White using a food grade white enamel. The unit utilized rigid stainless steel hydraulic lines, washdown duty flange bearings, and food grade hydraulic fluid and grease. The power pack consisted of a Baldor premium efficiency motor with a self-contained hydraulic system. The hydraulic system was housed in an enclosure with twin removable access panels. Unit included NEMA 4 electricals with AUTO/MANUAL mode controls, an Allen Bradley Slick 503 PLC with custom programming, and status indicator lights.
