APPLICATION / PRODUCT:
Unit was engineered to discharge plastic containers of settled Potato Starch into an existing receiving tank. Unit was designed for a 47" discharge height, a 45° discharge angle, and a 13" discharge projection.
CUSTOM FEATURES:
Unit featured a custom loading skip with 304 stainless steel on product contact surfaces, stainless steel rod bottom, and an adjustable height stainless steel holddown bar.
The dumper frame was designed for heavy use in a washdown environment and was constructed from carbon steel structural tube, with ends capped and continuous welds. The frame included stub style legs for ease of cleaning. The dumper frame was painted MTS Safety Blue using Rustoleum 9300 series two part epoxy system.
The unit utilized rigid stainless steel hydraulic lines, twin tubular pivot shaft supports, large bore hydraulic cylinders with chrome plated rams, and washdown duty flange bearings. The power pack consisted of a Baldor 5HP washdown duty motor with a self-contained hydraulic system. The hydraulic system was designed for continuous duty service, and included an oversized hydraulic reservoir, a high efficiency pump, and an external pressure relief. The hydraulic system and motor were housed in an enclosure with two (2) removable access panels. Electrical components were NEMA 4 rated, and installed in a Hoffman NEMA 4 carbon steel enclosure.
