LIFT & DUMP METAL FLASH DISCHARGING SYSTEM
APPLICATION DESCRIPTION:
Discharge metal flash (forging scraps) from bins into roll-off type containers.
Roll-off containers were located in a loading pit below grade.
Contents of the roll-off containers were then sold as scrap.
GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS:
- 5,000# lifting capacity.
- 60° dump angle.
- 6" I-beam, tube, and structural channel frame construction.
- 1/4" plate and 3/8" AR/IR plate dumper bucket construction.
- Igus brand E-chain, guided trunnion, rigid conduit and hydraulic lines.
HYDRAULICALLY ACTUATED CHUTE:
- Provided a 84" to 96" product discharge height above grade.
- 45° to 55° discharge angle.
- 68" minimum horizontal reach.
- 1/4" thick AR/IR plate steel.
- Chute can be raised to allow for removal of roll-off containers.
ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONS:
- NEMA 12 rated Allen-Bradley electricals with momentary contact controls.
- 5 GPM self-contained power pack, 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor.
