60° LIFT & DUMP CONTAINER DUMPER FOR GRANOLA
OPERATIONAL OBJECTIVE:
Unit was designed to discharge granola from a wheeled plastic container into a 24" square x 98" high vibratory feeder hopper. Our customer requested a design which would prevent any foreign materials from entering into his process equipment or finished product. Our hydraulic Lift & Seal System™ was recommended, which seals the top of the container against a stainless steel pour hood. The bottom flange of the pour hood includes a food grade white SBR seal which compresses under hydraulic pressure, and prevents contaminants from entering into the product discharge area. A pour hood mounted discharge valve was opened once the pour hood was positioned over the feeder hopper to prevent spillage.
